::Start to finish, everything was wonderful. This is our favorite restaurant on the island, highly recommended. Staff, owners, food and wine are all great. Being remembered when we come back each year makes us feel even more special.

::The Wine Cellar is run by Daniel and Antoine, who personally supervise every aspect of the restaurant's operation. The wine selection is excellent - ask Daniel for a recommendation. The food is outstanding - well prepared and imaginative. Daniel indicated that this is Antoine's area of expertise. The service matches the wine and food. Now let me tell you the rest of the story. We took a taxi to the restaurant and were unprepared for the cost (taxis are expensive in Curacao, plan on at least $20/trip within Willemstad). We had no cash left; bad planning on our part. So, after dinner, Antoine took us back in his personal car to the Willemstad bridge. That qualifies, I think, for outstanding service and thoughtfulness. The other reviews I saw for The Wine Cellar were accurate and appropriately positive. Don't miss this restaurant while in Curacao.
